Work opportunities in Canada

Hi everyone, I am currently working as an Environmental Officer in Australia for a Canadian owned mining company. I am very interested in working in Canada at some stage over the next 1-2 years. A transfer with my company would be great, but if the opportunity doesnt arise I would still like to come over to Canada anyway. Australians can get a 12 month working visa. I am wondering what the employement prospects are like for Environmental professionals in Canada and wondering if it would be difficult to obtain an environmental job with a working visa of only 12 months. I have a degree in Environmental Science and 4 years experience working in the government(2 years) and mining industry (2 years). Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated - i have found it hard to get this sort of info! Thanks again

If you are looking for professional work suggest you stay in Oz. Ontario the largest Canadian Province has several thousand professional engineers out of work. If any work in Canada try oil sands in Alberta
