Wooden Spools

I am wondering if any has come across someone, or company in the Edmonton area that may recycle wooden cable spools? We do a lot of business with cable, and have a large amount of wooded cable spools left over that do not have any use now. Is there anything like that out there?
Thanks.

This isn't a direct answer to your question as I don't live anywhere around there, but i do know that the Outdoor Ed centres I have worked at in the past were always loking for the wooden spools for wheels for low ropes courses and tables and stuff like that. Hope that helps, give it a try, I know of a place in Ontario that needs one if you want to mail one.

Have you thought of burning the waste spools for heating & hotwater, with the appropiate furnace this can be very environmentally beneficial.

How big are the spools? I still might be too far away from you to recycle them for you, but you never know. I am in Yorkton Sk. Brent

There is a company in Cobourg, Ontario called Spoolon. They may be able to help! Area code 905 if you need to look it up!

Also might be interested in the spools, depending on their size.
