EMS Performance Indicators

I work in a small office in a shared building with other companies. Are anyone in a similar atmosphere who are implementing or have implemented an EMS for a shared office building? My challenges are to keep track of energy use and water use etc. However because these sources are shared with others in the building, I am wondering what is the best way to monitor energy and water use for only my company office and not the entire building. Does anyone know? Help is appreciated. THanks.

Electrical usage can be ascertained through several formulas. I had a similar situation in one of my plants due to a machine shop occupying 1/4 of the building. The EE crunched som numbers and got ballpark KW usage for the heavy machinery and then we used a proportion system to figure the ratio of other electrical usage. Exam. 400 light fixtures in the bulding, 100 in the other companies area, 1/4 of the electrical usage in that area. I admit this is a bit simplistic but short of a lot of skullsweat and pencil sharpening it is viable. Worse come to worse you can do a ratio based on square meters of area used as long as the activities of the companies are similar.
