Can someone update me on the current practices and foreseen legislation when it comes to the disposal of oily drilling waste. In Europe it is not allowed to landfill oily drilling waste. Re-injection and treatment by means of thermal desorption are currently the practices. We are interested to enter into the canadian market with an advanced thermal desorption technology but it seems that in Canada landfill is allowed. Any information is highly welcome. Thanks alot

Yes, landfilling of oily drilling waste is common practice here.
