I need to find a company that can destroy, then recycle confidential computer media (various types of disks) and VHS tapes.

We will soon be handling VHS & other elctronic media. We will put them through a degausser (a machine that ensures maganetic erasure), then process/repackage/recycle the resulting blank media. Please contact us with your requirements at salvagekraft@shaw.ca

Dear Sir/Madam, We are an info tech/consultant firm operating within Nigeria. As a matter of fact we have a stock pile of disused computers and other related communication equiptments for possible dispossal, repackaging or recyclying. Since we now know that your firm does offer such services we are interested to doing business with you. Could you update us with the following informations concerning; (1)What it would cost us to send one or two of our staffs to come and learn from your firm how to manage such waste. (2)Based on the fact that we have been in the computer/communication business for more than fifteen years we render our services to mainly top oil companies in Nigeria. We do hope to hear from you as soon as possible as we look forward to doing business with your organization.
Thanks Your's faithfully, Richard O.Ihunwo (Manager Operations)

Richard, we use a very non-traditional method in dealing with scrap electronics. I suspect a more traditional approach is what you are looking for, so perhaps you should contact "Andy" @ Silicon Scrap (see his post for contact information).

Sorry Kristine, we do not typically buy such materials. We do accept various nontypical materials for reclaimation/reycling/reuse, however. We rarely ever need to purchase materials.
